Rutanio, the economy that propels the innovation ecosystem articulated by Ruta N, has officially launched their Proof of Stake (PoS) beta net, a significant step for their blockchain  that recently celebrated their first month of life. The Genesis of the beta net was on Jul 28, 2019 21:42:00 UTC, during this first month the miners and the collaborators have been securing blocks mainly via Proof of Work (PoW).

Congratulations to the DevOps team for successfully closing the mining period yesterday Sep 02, 2019 at 19:19:09 UTC, making Rutanio beta net more and more secure.

The chain moved to only staking mode. Community members and stakers are now enabling their staking options on their Rutanio-Qt staking wallets.

At the same time, the Rutanio project opened up their open source,  binaries, and their Rutanio-Qt staking wallets available  to the community from the  Rutanio GitHub repository.
